Banana Bread (Loaf Pan)

Ingredients:

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 3/4 cup sugar
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 2 eggs, beaten
  • 3 ripe bananas, mashed
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • Optional: 1/2 cup nuts or chocolate chips

Instructions:

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×5 inch loaf pan.
  2. Mix flour, sugar, baking soda, and salt in a large bowl.
  3. In another bowl, combine eggs, mashed bananas, melted butter, and vanilla extract.
  4. Stir the banana mixture into the flour mixture until just mixed. Add nuts or chocolate chips if using.
  5. Pour into the loaf pan.
  6. Bake for about 60 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
  7. Cool in the pan for 10 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
