Stuffed Bell Peppers (Baking Dish)

Ingredients:

6 bell peppers (any color), tops removed, seeds and membranes discarded
1 lb ground beef
1 cup cooked rice
1 can (14.5 oz) diced tomatoes, drained
1 small onion, chopped
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon black pepper
1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
1 cup shredded cheese (cheddar or mozzarella)
1/2 cup water

Stuffed Bell Peppers (Baking Dish)

Instructions:

Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
In a skillet, cook ground beef, onion, and garlic until beef is no longer pink; drain fat.
Stir in rice, tomatoes, salt, pepper, and Worcestershire sauce. Cook for a few minutes to blend flavors.
Stuff peppers with the beef mixture, top with cheese.
Place peppers in a baking dish. Pour water around the peppers to help steam them.
Cover with foil and bake for 30 minutes. Uncover and bake for an additional 10-15 minutes until peppers are tender and cheese is melted.
